Walter Maxwell Rauth Has Arrived!

GOOD NEWS!! Walter Maxwell "Max" Rauth arrived on Saturday, 12/20/08, at 2:15 AM. He weighed in at 7 lbs 15 oz, 21 inches long. A little dark hair and chubby checks. Just beautiful of course. Mother Steph and Dad Adam are doing great, very proud of their new son. Granddaddy Waddy and Memaw just wanted everyone to know that our little miracle made it into this world healthy and beautiful, prayers were answered. Pawpaw has only seen pictures so far but is getting ready to make a trip to Jonesboro to see our new family edition. Our Christmas came a little early but we were all ready for him!!

Christmas is getting closer!!

He loves "Red" (Cindy)!!!

Got a call from Steph and Adam today, doctor seems to think we may be having our bundle of joy in about a week or so, a little earlier than due date (12/25). We are so excited. We just pray for a health baby and mother!!

Trish is home and is feeling some better each day. Doctor says it will take 3 weeks for her meds to get in her system. She still needs your prayers until she gets back to being our "Trish".

Daddy is feeling so much better. He is just going and going again!! And that is a good sign, it means that he is feeling good and he doesn't want to miss anything!! :-) HE went to the football game in Des Arc Friday night and spent the night with his good buddy Russell (a God send), and then they went to Little Rock Saturday to watch playoffs. He had a really good time. Then he spent the night with Trish Sat. & Sun. He went to Stuttgart yesterday to the doctor to get his shots in his knee and back, this weather hasn't been very good for that. He went to the foot doctor this morning and then to Brinkley to a funeral of one of his good Cotton Plant friends, Mr. Horner.

BEfore he left town he came by the office to see everyone!! He loves to visit you know. But, it just so happened that we were taking Christmas pictures in the lobby when he came so he just fit right in. Everyone here at the office has adopted him, they all think he is a hoot!!

Sister Dearest 12-4-08

Not good news today, Tonya and Billy had to take Trish back to emergency room last night in NLR with uncontrollable pain. I talked to Tonya & Trish at noon today and this was the update that I got. She is more comfortable with the meds they have given her, she is having a series of test done on her blood, also MRI on her back, chest xray, and a pretty good complete going over to try and find out what is causing all her pain. The last time she went to emergency room they just gave her a knock out shot and sent her home, but this time Tonya decided to make they try and find out what is causing the pain. This is going on 3 weeks (?) with her legs hurting, deep pain.

Keep her in your prayers. I hope to get some good news tomorrow after they run all the test.

Daddy is still feeling good, he has gotten his energy back so he is on the go. Art calls him the energized bunny since he got his pacemaker. He is worried about Trish, as we all are.

Wally is still putting up Christmas Lights outside, have I told you that Wally LOVES CHRISTMAS, he actually thinks he is SANTA!! I had this bright idea of decorating my BIG tree with all my stuffed Christmas Bears, I thought, that will be easy and will not take too long. Sure enough while Wally was outside I decorated the whole tree. I thought it looked pretty good, not my prettiest, but it sure didn't take long with the big bears. Wally came in and looked at it and told me right off that he hated the tree, it didn't look right. Well, I sat and pouted for awhile , he knew he had hurt my feelings, and I looked at the tree again, and yes - Wally was right, it didn't look very good. So I UNdecorated the tree, and started all over again and by the time I went to bed we had a beautiful tree again!! Wally was so very happy!! Daddy thinks we have just completely lost our minds of course. He was fusing and cussing the whole time about all the lights and all the decorations. We love Christmas and what it means. It is a time for friends, family, and celebration of our Jesus Christ.

Justine 7th Birthday

Justine celebrated an early 7th birthday in Memphis Saturday. She and her Mom were home for Thanksgiving and they invited me over to help celebrate. We had a great time. She is growing up way to fast for Memaw! We had cake and ice cream and then we went roller skating. We didn't much like the skating part, so we played games!! Just wanted to share with family and friends. This was a very special surprise and it was a wonderful way to end the Thanksgiving Holiday. I am so very thankful for everything, I can't even begin to post.
Daddy is feeling lots better, he is back home in Forrest City. He went to basketball tourney here on Saturday and watched 4 ballgames. We had a funny that happened this morning that I wanted to share. I'm running late this morning and my cell phone rings, it is Daddy, gave me instructions to put his squirrel out to thaw, he wanted some squirrel and dumplings. So out the door I go and remember the squirrel, so back in the house I go, grab a package and put it in the sink for him. Off to work. About 10:00 I get a call, it was Daddy telling me that I had put fish out instead of his squirrel and that he thought he would just cook it for lunch for us, I told him not today, just put it back in the frig. Well, little did I know that he didn't notice that it wasn't squirrel either, he had his pan on boiling and dropped the fish in!! Then when it started just falling apart he realized what he had done!! When I got home at lunch I searched the frig, and everywhere for the fish, I called him and he told me what he had done and he just threw it away, and that I owed him some more fish because he had bought it. :-) He is getting back to his old self now, thanks for all the prayers from family and friends.

Sister Dearest has been sick for a couple of weeks now and we need to pray for her. She is going back to doctor today. She was diagnosed with Restless Leg Syndrom and was put on meds but it hasn't seemed to help, has been in lots of pain. Trying to get appointment with neurologist, since the pain just will not go away. Keep her in your prayers because this family can't do without Sister Dearest, she keeps up all in line. Let her know how much we all love her and that we are praying for her.
